This is hand painted tile that has been placed in a wooden frame so that you can hang it on the wall. It is by Nino Parrucca and is titled "Inverno" which means Winter in Italy. And the picture is exactly that - a landscape scene of a house or cottage in the mountains in the winter. The mountains are snowcapped, and the tree has snow on it too and there is a cute snowman standing in front of the house.

This would make a wonderful holiday gift or a lovely piece to add to your Nino Parrucca collection! The frame is 9.5x9.5" and the tile is 7.75x7.75" - it is a square.

The back of the piece has Made in Italy on it and the frame has hardware to hang it. However, I would test out the hardware before hanging this on the wall just to be safe.
